Gisborne Manor was the estate of Guy of Gisborne's and Isabella's family. For Roger of Gisborne's bravery in the Crusades, the family was awarded the manor and it's lands by King Richard. It burnt down when Guy accidentally set fire to the place when trying to stop Malcolm from invading the manor. Despite escaping with his sister, their parents died in the fire, leaving Guy to feel guilty and haunted by it for years.

When Guy and Isabella were exiled back to France by Longthorn who had blackmailed Ghislaine and Malcolm for the deeds to the lands, the people of the village decided to give the lands back to the Locksley name, making Robin of Locksley the inheritor. Hence, it's implied that Locksley Manor and Locksley are what became of the Gisborne lands.
