Matilda, played by Josie Lawrence, is a character that appears in "Ducking and Diving". She is the mother of Rosa and gets captured by Guy of Gisborne and his men in order to cure Henry. When she helps Robin by temporarily silencing Henry (a messenger who is supposed to tell the seriff where the king will land when he returns to England), she is about to be tried for witchcraft, but Robin, Much, Will and Allan are able to save her. She is brought to the Outlaws' Camp, where her daughter Rosa has just given birth to a baby girl.
