'Rest in peace.' Old man to Archer.
"The Enemy of My Enemy" is the eleventh episode of Season 3 of Robin Hood and the 37th episode of the series as a whole.
Plot[]
Robin insults the virtue of Guy's mother. But they wrestle and have heartfelt confessions and make up. Robin announces to his gang that he and Guy are going to York—alone. It turns out that Robin has a wonderful talent for accents and a flair for fur coats. Guy has more of a talent for being mobbed.
In York they encounter Archer, a feisty if morally uncertain companion whom they were told is their half-brother. Archer sleeps with the Sheriff of York's wife while wearing all his clothes, and teaches her the Mysteries of the Orient, which he fails to explain to the audience of this children's show. Robin explains to Archer that his life's mission has been to abandon his wealth to serve the poor; Archer balks and finds this ridiculous. Guy agrees. Archer immediately betrays the only family he has ever known, and then they all end up in nooses. The gang saves Robin's life, and Archer's, and only Robin and Archer think about saving Guy's.
Archer steals Guy's horse.
